Jerry Dixon, 38, has been indicted by a Suffolk County Grand Jury in Boston of several counts of Massachusetts Sex Crimes, including several indictments for Aggravated Rape stemming from three separate incidents in Roxbury and Jamaica Plain.

Dixon was reportedly linked to the three 1991 alleged sexual assaults through a CODIS (“Combined DNA Index System”) hit that is essentially a DNA database maintained by the FBI. According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Dixon has allegedly been linked to these three sexual assaults after his DNA allegedly matched DNA samples that have been kept from those incidents.

Police were reportedly able to match Jerry Dixon’s DNA after he was convicted of Armed Robbery. In Massachusetts, any person that is convicted of a felony offense is required by statute to submit their DNA to the Massachusetts DNA database, which in turn submits the DNA samples into the CODIS database.

Joseph Lee Brown, 22, of Cambridge, was arrested and charged with Massachusetts Sex Crimes for allegedly raping sexually assaulting a 19 year old woman in Boston on July 4th. Brown was arraigned yesterday in Brighton District Court on the sex crime of Rape.

According to the Massachusetts State Police, the alleged sexual assault occurred shortly before 11:00 p.m. following Boston’s fireworks display at the Esplanade. According to police, Joseph Lee Brown met the young woman in Harvard Square that evening, and the two walked along the Charles River to watch the fireworks.

In the area near the John W. Weeks Footbridge, Joseph Lee Brown allegedly pushed the woman to the ground and raped her. Immediately following the alleged sexual assault, the woman had a friend call 911 and then admitted herself into Cambridge Hospital to be treated for injuries and to have a rape examination done.

Matthew Pike, 39, a corrections officer at MCI Cedar Junction in Walpole, was arrested this past week on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges alleging that he repeatedly raped a child over a 5-6 year period.

Pike was arraigned on Friday in Wrentham District Court on various sex crimes charges including 10 counts of Rape of a Child, 2 counts of Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child Under 14; Assault & Battery; and Intimidation of a Witness.

According to the Walpole Police Department, the child at issue had recently told family members of the allegations, who in turn then reported the alleged incidents to the Walpole Police Department. No other details of the case, nor the relationship between the child and Matthew Pike, have been disclosed to date.

David Ceballos, 17, of Milford, was arraigned this week on several Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault during a freshman orientation at Nichols College.

Ceballos was arraigned in Dudley District Court and charged with Rape and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Person Over 14.

According to prosecutors, the woman, also a freshman entering his first year at Nichols College, told police that David Ceballos allegedly forced her to have sex with him against her will. She also alleged that there were four witnesses to the sexual assault. Police reportedly spoke with those four witnesses, who according to investigators, gave a consistent account with the woman.

Lowell Police Officer Aravanh Lakmany was indicted this past week by the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges alleging he raped two prostitutes while on duty.

Aravanh Lakmany was indicted on sex crimes charges of Rape and Soliciting Prostitution.

According to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, Aravanh Lakmany allegedly solicited several prostitutes from 2009 going forward while he was working the overnight shift for the Lowell Police Department. He is alleged to have asked the purported prostitutes to get into the back seat of his police cruiser, driven them to a remote area, and then alleged rape them or engage in other sexual acts with them.

Jose S. Castillo, 35, was arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston yesterday in connection several Massachusetts Sex Crimes that took place in Chelsea between September and October 2010. Castillo was formally indicted on various sex crimes including seven counts of Aggravated Rape, four charges of Indecent Assault & Battery.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, the alleged victims were all prostitutes who were picked up by a man, taken to a remote area, and threatened with a knife before they were attacked or even raped. One of the woman, however, reportedly took the license number of the man’s car, which then led them to Jose Castillo.

Aggravated Rape:

Sergio Lara, 53, of East Boston, was arraigned yesterday on several Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges in connection with the alleged rape of a 5 year old girl who Lara was responsible for driving home from day care.

He was formally arraigned on various sex crimes charges including Rape of a Child Under 14, Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child, Distributing Obscene Material to a Minor, and Open & Gross Lewdness.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Sergio Lara operated Maya Transportation, a school bus company with contracts in Chelsea, Revere and East Boston. On March 1st, Lara allegedly took all the children home, and then took the remaining 5 year old girl to an unknown location and allegedly raped her. Following the alleged sexual assault, Lara took the girl home, who then immediately told her mother about the incident.

William S. O’Connell, 71, the Quincy developer who was involved in large scale developments such as Marina Bay and the Granite Links Golf Course in Quincy, has been charged with various Massachusetts Sex Crimes. He was arraigned earlier this week in Quincy District Court on charges including Aggravated Rape of a Child, Sex for a Fee and Drug Trafficking Charges.

According to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, William S. O’Connell, the alleged victim in the case is between the ages of 14 and 16 years old. O’Connell allegedly engaged in sexual acts with the child twice during the spring of 2009.

At the time of his arrest in this case, Robert S. O’Connell was allegedly in the possession of 19 grams of cocaine, which led to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office also seeking the additional Drug Trafficking Charge.

A young couple was arrested in Roxbury early yesterday morning on Massachusetts Sex Crimes charges for having sex in public. Both persons, 28, were each charged with Open & Gross Lewdness and Lascivious Behavior.

According to the Boston Police Department, officers received complaints at 8:45 a.m. yesterday Thursday morning that a couple was having sex at the Clifford Playground in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The witnesses who reported the incident to the police indicated that the couple was “making no effort to conceal their activities from the view of rush hour traffic.”

When Boston Police Officers responded to the Roxbury park, they allegedly observed the couple partially clothed and still engaged in activity of a sexual nature. Upon the sight of the arriving police officers, both persons allegedly frantically began to tidy up their clothing.

Galen Stone, 55, a Brockton High School counselor, was arraigned today in Brockton District Court on various Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges for allegedly taking lewd cellphone photos of female students. He was arraigned on sex crimes charges including Criminal Harassment and Annoying and Accosting a Member of the Opposite Sex.

According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Stone allegedly took lewd photos with his cell phone of female students’ chest areas as they reached for candy that he placed on a cafeteria table.

Brockton High School administration initiated an investigation into Galen Stone following complaints from students that he was taking photos of them. When the Brockton High School headmaster asked to examine Stone’s cell phone, he consented, which revealed photos of several students in school, as well as a teacher at Brockton High School. In addition to those pictures, Galen Stone’s cell phone also contained other homemade and pornographic videos, including many videos taken of people that were apparently unaware that they were being videotaped.
