Donald Johnstone, 58, of Hopkinton, was arrested this week on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges that he sexually molested a raped a Framingham teenager. He was arraigned in Framingham District Court on several sex crimes charges including two counts of Rape, Indecent Assault & Battery, and Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor.

According to the Framingham Police Department, the teenager who was allegedly sexually molested and Johnstone are known to each other. Over the past several months, Johnstone allegedly would go into the boy’s bedroom, remove his clothes and touch him in a sexually inappropriate manner.

One one recent incident, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office alleges that Johnstone performed oral sex on the teenager, which led to the Sex Crime of Rape. In another incident, prosecutors alleged that Johnstone sent the teen an email with obscene videos of men engaging in various sexual acts.

William Nichols, 45, of Weymouth, was charged with Massachusetts Sex Crimes for allegedly raping a 12 year old girl in Quincy. He was arraigned this week in Quincy District Court for Rape and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child Under 14, where he was held on $50,000 cash bail.

According to the Quincy Police Department and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, William Nichols allegedly sexually molested the girl at least one time at the Snug Playground in Quincy. It was also reported that, following his arrest, Nichols allegedly admitted to kissing, inappropriately touching and having ‘made out’ with the girl.

The alleged Rape and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child Under 14 was reported by the girl’s uncle after he found messages between Nichols and the child on her cell phone.

Charles “Chuck” R. Devita, a camp counselor at Camp Good News on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, reportedly committed suicide because of his being suspected of committing various Massachusetts Sex Crimes. Devita was found dead from what is reported to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Devita was recently identified as a suspect for allegedly committing various Massachusetts Sex Crimes against a child at the camp several years ago. The unidentified victim had reportedly accused Charles Devita of repeatedly sexually assaulting and molesting him in 1985 when he attended Camp Good News.

Camp Good News on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is the same camp where United States Senator Scott Brown went to as a boy and revealed that he was also abused. Senator Brown has declined to pursue any prosecution of his alleged molester, and would not confirm nor deny whether the Charles Devita is the same individual who allegedly molested him as a youngster.

Kevin Treseler, a Stonehill College student interning at a Brockton elementary school, has been arraigned on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 3rd grade student.

Treseler was arraigned earlier this past week in Brockton District Court and charged with Rape of a Child and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child Under 14.

According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Treseler is alleged to have committed at least four sexual assaults on the 8 year old third grader, who is a student at Angelo Elementary School in Brockton. The child reportedly identified her 3rd grade tutor, Treseler, as the person who had allegedly put his hands down her pants and raped her with his fingers on several occasions.

Joseph Potter, 74, of Dorchester, was arrested on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges for allegedly groping a female student last November who was on her way to school. Potter was arraigned last week in Roxbury District Court on charges of Indecent Assault & Battery.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and Massachusetts Bay Transportation Police, Potter allegedly groped a female student on a bus traveling to Ruggles Station on November 3. According to the woman, Potter allegedly sat beside her on the bus and then started rubbing her thigh.

Then, earlier this month, the same female student allegedly recognized the man on another MBTA bus and told police officers that Potter was the person who allegedly groped her back on November 3. Joseph Potter was allegedly stopped by the police and arrested after the female purportedly identified him.

Sergio Lara, 53, owner of Maya Transportation, a private school bus company, was arraigned in Chelsea District Court last week on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges for allegedly raping a 5 year old girl. He was formally charged with Rape of a Child and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Sergio Lara owns the private school bus company that contracts with the cities of Revere, Chelsea and East Boston. Lara was driving the girl home from school, and alleged committed the sexual assault before dropping the girl off. When the child was dropped off, she told her parents what had happened and the alleged rape was reported.

Following his arraignment on Rape of a Child and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child, Lara was held on $100,000 cash bail.

As we have all heard by now, Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown revealed earlier in the week that he was a Sex Crimes victim. According to his new book and soon to be seen 60 Minutes interview, when he was 10 years old, he was sexually abused by a counselor at a Massachusetts summer camp.

The problem that I have with this is the timing of Scott Brown revealing this and his motives for doing so…

If Senator Scott Brown was really sincere about his reasoning for revealing something so personal about his past, something not even his parents and other members of his immediate family knew about, then why does he refuse to answer reporters’ questions about it until 60 Minutes airs his interview? …if he is so sincere about it and wants to help victims and use his influential position as a state senator to do so, then why wait until you write a book to come out? The answer, of course, is because it’s all about the $$$. …why doesn’t he reveal how much 60 Minutes is paying him to keep hush until his interview airs?

A Framingham High School student was arrested on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges and arraigned in Framingham Juvenile Court today on charges including Rape of a Child and Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child Under 14.

According to the Framingham Police Department, the student (whose name was not released because he is a juvenile) was arrested yesterday at Framingham High School for allegedly raping the 14 year old classmate on a school bus Wednesday afternoon. No additional information has been released at this time, including whether there were any witnesses and/or if the bus was in operation or had other passengers.

Notwithstanding the lack of information that has been released concerning these alleged acts, by virtue of having been charged with Rape of a Child, the suggestion is that the sexual conduct allegedly committed as not consensual.

David Castricone, the North Andover High School wrestling coach, was arrested Monday at his Sutton business on Sex Crimes Charges of Possession of Child Pornography.

He was released following his arraignment in Lawrence District Court after posting $1,500 bail.

The Associated Press reported that police had received a tip that led to a Search Warrant being executed at Castricone’s home. The Search Warrant allegedly yielded images, presumably on his computer, of adult and child pornography, including 77 pictures of women that suggest they were not aware that they were being photographed.

Abdulkadir Abbas, 29, of Boston, was arrested this past Wednesday on Massachusetts Sex Crimes Charges allegedly committed on a fellow passenger on an Orange Line Train.

Abbas, charged with Indecent Assault & Battery, allegedly sat next to the woman on the train and touched her inner thigh and groin area outside her pants. The woman reported to the MBTA Police that she yelled at Abbas and tried to push his hand away, but he allegedly continued in his attempts to grope her.

The woman, however, managed to take a picture of Abbas and reported the alleged incident to the MBTA Police when she got off the train at the Jackson Square Station. Abbas was later found and arrested at the Forest Hills Train Station in Jamaica Plain.
